I would normally insert an image now. However, I'm unable to. I didn't take a picture of it earlier and I'm currently nursing Madi, not to mention my hubby already took a bite out of it.
It's a quick and easy meal to make and eat for breakfast the rest of the week. Unless you eat more than we do. :) My husband and I enjoy this easy dish, i hope you will too!
Serves 8 (or 2 all week long)
Ingredients:
1lb sausage
4 eggs
2 Tablespoons of Milk
Black pepper
3/4 cup cheddar cheese
8oz tube of Crescent Rolls
Directions:
Grease a 9x13 pan with Pam or whatever it is that you like to use. I prefer to use a stick of butter and just rub it around the entire pan.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a sauce pan, cook sausage until no longer pink. While that is cooking, beat the eggs, milk, and black pepper together. Take the crescent rolls and roll them out into the pan. Push the rolls up along the sides of the pan about 1/2 an inch and make sure the seams are connected.
Once sausage is done, drain off grease and spread evenly over the rolls. Pour in the egg mixture and sprinkle cheese on top. Put it in the oven for 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
